Common sources of errors
• Applying loads to the materials too quickly can result in the glued surfaces no longer adhering to one another. You must therefore allow sufficient drying time.
• More is better! In this case, this is often untrue! People often use too much glue. This extends the drying time and compromises adhesion.
• In the case of adhesives that cure by means of solvent or water, it is often not taken into account that one of the two materials must be permeable. The adhesive must therefore be selected on the basis of the material.
• Storage conditions At least 24 months after the date of manufacture. Limited shelf life after opening. Store the well-sealed packaging in a dry, cool and frost-free place.
