Platinum Curidas Stones Limited Edition Fine Fountain Pen Capless Retractable

The Platinum Curidas is a fountain pen with a nib that retracts with a single click. The hassle of removing and replacing the cap is eliminated, while writing comfort remains. Advanced sealing technology keeps the nib moist, ensuring immediate use.

The name Curidas is a combination of two words: Kuriadsu and curiosity. The former is a Japanese term meaning "to protrude." The latter means "curiosity."

The Curidas Stones collection was created to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the 1965 launch of the retractable nib fountain pen. The pens in this edition feature an opalescent, pearlescent finish that changes color depending on the angle of light, reminiscent of precious stones.

Only 3,000 fountain pens were produced. A limited edition, the pens are not individually numbered.

Platinum is a Japanese manufacturer that has been run by the Nakata family for generations since 1919. Currently, the brand is managed by Toshiya Nakata, the founder's grandson.

The pen is filled using a Platinum plunger (sold separately) or cartridges.
